On August 9, Wang Xingxing, the CEO of Yushu Technology, addressed the main forum, highlighting that while the robotics industry has witnessed rapid growth this year, it now confronts a formidable challenge: the development of the 'Embodied Intelligent Robot Large Model.' Currently, this model is progressing at a slow pace, lacks a standardized architecture, and has yet to achieve a significant breakthrough akin to the stage AI large language models were at 1-3 years prior to the advent of ChatGPT. Wang Xingxing further disclosed that in the coming 2-5 years, the three critical areas of focus for intelligent robot technology will encompass: establishing a unified, end-to-end intelligent robot large model; developing cost-effective, long-lasting hardware for mass production on a colossal scale; and fostering low-cost, large-scale computing power, primarily leveraging distributed systems.
