Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, alongside six other departments, unveiled the "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Innovative Development of the Brain-Computer Interface Industry." The document outlines ambitions to achieve breakthroughs in key technologies by 2027 and to establish a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing technology, industry, and standard systems. This announcement has significantly bolstered the brain-computer interface (BCI) sector, with related stocks opening on a strong note. Notably, Chuangxin Medical's share price has surged three-fold in just four days. Other companies, including Jihua Group, BeneFit, and Nanjing Panda, also witnessed gains exceeding 5%, with Sanbo Brain Hospital and ZK Software following suit. As an avant-garde domain at the convergence of life sciences and information sciences, the BCI technology industry chain encompasses three pivotal segments: upstream basic hardware, midstream BCI systems, and downstream application scenarios. Amidst escalating market demand, it is projected that China's BCI market will balloon to exceed 6 billion yuan by 2028.
