Tencent AI Lab has unveiled a groundbreaking open-source agent framework named Cognitive Kernel-Pro. This framework employs a modular, hierarchical architecture, where the primary agent oversees task decomposition and information synthesis, while subordinate agents handle specific tasks to bolster processing efficiency. By integrating a "progress state" mechanism and efficient communication interfaces, Cognitive Kernel-Pro enhances task quality through reflective and voting mechanisms. During the GAIA benchmark test, Cognitive Kernel-Pro exhibited remarkable performance, rivaling agents that utilize proprietary, paid tools. The project is now open-sourced, with the aim of fostering research and development initiatives within the community.
