In today's trading session, the three major U.S. stock indices closed in the red, with the China concept stock index also slipping by 0.56%. Reflecting this global sentiment, the Hong Kong stock market opened with declines across its three main indices: the Hang Seng Index, the China Enterprises Index, and the Hang Seng TECH Index, all experiencing modest falls. Within the technology sector, the majority of large-cap stocks recorded losses, notably including Baidu, Alibaba, and Xiaomi, while Tencent and JD.com managed to eke out small gains. On the other hand, innovative drug stocks emerged as a bright spot, with XtalPi soaring by an impressive 15%. Robot-related stocks also displayed robust activity, and paper stocks maintained their upward momentum. Conversely, stocks in the catering, steel, automotive, telecommunications, and express logistics sectors generally trended downward.
