Shanghai has unveiled the "Implementation Plan for the Development of the Embodied Intelligence Industry," a strategic initiative aimed at drawing in and nurturing top-tier enterprises, with a particular focus on fostering leaders within the industry ecosystem. The plan stipulates that enterprises involved in the sale or lease of embodied intelligent robots will be eligible for incentives amounting to a maximum of 5% of the contract value, capped at 5 million yuan. Furthermore, Shanghai will strengthen strategic collaborations with central and state-owned enterprises, encourage the establishment of numerous regional and functional headquarters, and provide support for high-quality enterprises within the industry, as well as major technology and internet firms, to establish embodied intelligence entities in the city.
