The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has unveiled the pivotal work points for the 2025 integration of informatization and industrialization, encompassing a comprehensive list of 17 items across five key areas. Among these, elevating the level of intelligence stands as a top priority. To achieve this, MIIT will compile an AI application guide tailored for manufacturing enterprises, fostering deeper integration and broader application of AI in the industrial sector. Additionally, the 'AI + Manufacturing' initiative will be rigorously implemented, empowering businesses to leverage universal large models, industry-specific large models, and agents in critical scenarios.
Furthermore, MIIT will intensify efforts in smart manufacturing engineering and initiate a tiered approach to nurturing smart factories. Building upon the foundation of smart factory construction, the ministry aims to accelerate the adoption and iterative enhancement of innovative advancements in smart manufacturing equipment, industrial software, and system integration.
