Google has introduced an innovative image-to-video feature in its Gemini app, leveraging the advanced Veo 3 model. This capability enables users to transform their photos into captivating 8-second videos, complete with background music, ambient sounds, and voiceovers. Initially, this feature is accessible to AI Ultra and AI Pro users in selected regions, debuting on the web version and gradually expanding to mobile devices within the week. To create an MP4 video in 720p resolution and 16:9 widescreen format, users simply upload their photos and add a description through the "Tools" option. Google ensures that audio and video will be perfectly synchronized, and the generated videos will feature a visible AI watermark along with an invisible SynthID digital watermark for authentication.
