This innovative approach leverages "plain CT scans + AI" and has already been implemented in nine countries and regions, benefitting more than 20 million people. The groundbreaking research findings have been featured in Nature Medicine and have been granted Breakthrough Device designation by the US FDA. The technology boasts high accessibility and cost-effectiveness, markedly enhancing the early detection rates of various cancers. Remarkably, it has successfully pinpointed pancreatic tumors and early-stage pancreatic cancer lesions as small as 1 millimeter in diameter. DAMO Academy is actively collaborating with medical institutions across multiple nations to further expand its service network and propel the adoption of AI in public health initiatives.
