U.S. Stock Market Closes Higher Across the Board, Boosted by Broad Gains in Large-Cap Tech Stocks

On June 6, the U.S. stock market concluded trading with a positive note, as all three major indexes registered gains. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 1.05%, the Nasdaq Composite advanced 1.2%, and the S&P 500 rose 1.03%. Large-cap technology stocks led the charge, with Google and Tesla surging more than 3%, Amazon increasing over 2%, and NVIDIA, Apple, and Meta all gaining more than 1%. Among the notable Chinese stocks listed in the U.S., performance was mixed. Bilibili, Pinduoduo, and iQIYI posted gains of more than 1%, while Li Auto, NIO, and JD.com recorded modest increases. Conversely, XPeng Motors declined by more than 2%, NetEase fell over 1%, and Alibaba and Baidu witnessed slight dips.
