On June 6, Li Lecheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), led a meeting of the Leading Group on Informatization and Industrialization Integration. The meeting underscored the urgency to swiftly enhance the supply capacity of software and hardware products, with a particular focus on achieving breakthroughs in the R&D of pivotal technologies, including industrial software and intelligent sensors. Additionally, it was highlighted that the construction of high-quality industrial datasets must be expedited, thereby laying a robust data foundation for the deployment of AI in industrial sectors. Furthermore, the meeting proposed intensifying the development of "small, swift, lightweight, and precise" digital products and cost-effective digital general-purpose tools. By leveraging industrial agents as a conduit, the aim is to deepen the integration of AI in industry and foster innovation and progression in industrial datasets and large industrial models.
