Zhang Fan, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Zhipu AI, will step down at the conclusion of June to embark on a new entrepreneurial journey in the realm of AI Agents. In a statement, Zhipu AI affirmed its commitment to nurturing the next generation of foundational models and enhancing the commercial application ecosystem of its Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform. Notably, Zhang Fan's nascent project has already secured investment from Zhipu AI, marking its integration into the MaaS platform ecosystem and accelerating the practical deployment of models. Earlier this year, Zhipu AI underwent personnel realignments within its commercialization division, refining its business management structure for enhanced efficiency.
