On June 3, celebrated computer scientist and AI trailblazer Yoshua Bengio announced the launch of LawZero, a non-profit organization focused on developing innovative and secure AI systems. The mission of LawZero is to expedite scientific advancements while safeguarding against the potential misuse of AI technologies. Bengio will spearhead this initiative with an initial investment of approximately $30 million and a team comprising more than a dozen dedicated researchers.
