The Shenyang-Baishan High-Speed Railway officially initiates joint commissioning and testing today, setting the stage for its anticipated operational debut on September 30, 2025. Spanning a total distance of 430.1 kilometers and designed to travel at speeds of up to 350 kilometers per hour, the railway boasts 10 stations. As the second high-speed rail corridor connecting Liaoning and Jilin provinces, this railway will significantly reduce the temporal and spatial distances between the two regions. Upon its opening, the journey time from Beijing to Changbaishan will be trimmed to just 4 hours, while the trip from Shenyang to Changbaishan will take only 1.5 hours. The introduction of this high-speed rail line is poised to catalyze the dynamic growth of the tourism industry along its route.
