On May 29, the Guangdong Provincial Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry Innovative Products and Services Launch Event (Zhuhai Special Session) and the Zhuhai Cloud Smart City Industrial Development Conference convened successfully at the Zhuhai International Convention and Exhibition Center. During the event, Yao Wei, Director of the Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, emphasized the newly introduced "Several Measures to Foster High-Quality Development in Zhuhai's Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry." This comprehensive policy outlines 11 specific initiatives designed to propel advancements in core technologies, fortify the establishment of innovation platforms, nurture high-quality enterprises and products, and foster innovation in application scenarios.

Notably, the policy includes the establishment of a "computational power voucher" valued at 500 million yuan and a "model voucher" worth 100 million yuan. These vouchers offer eligible enterprises annual subsidies of up to 10 million yuan and 1 million yuan, respectively, drastically lowering the financial burdens associated with AI research, development, and utilization. Furthermore, to incentivize groundbreaking technological innovations, Zhuhai has committed to providing funding of up to 30 million yuan for pivotal core technology research projects.
