Recent media reports have suggested that Chen Lin, a former head of ByteDance's education business and senior vice president, has left the company to embark on his entrepreneurial journey. Allegedly, he co-founded "Galaxy Wisdom" with former iFLYTEK executive Wang Zhuo and registered the trademark "Xiaolu Aixue," with plans to launch AI education products for schools in August. Nonetheless, insiders from ByteDance have refuted these claims, clarifying that Chen Lin's departure is a misrepresentation of facts.
According to available information, Chen Lin joined ByteDance in 2012 and played a pivotal role as a product manager for several of the company's core products. He was appointed CEO of TouTiao (Today's Headlines) at the end of 2018 and, two years later, ascended to the position of CEO of Diligent Education.
