During the Ali Day family and friends gathering on May 11, Joe Tsai, Chairman of the Alibaba Group's Board of Directors, unveiled the company's two central strategic focuses: "E-commerce and Cloud+AI." He also highlighted innovative ventures within the Alibaba ecosystem, including Xianyu, Quark, Gaode, DingTalk, and 1688. Tsai emphasized Alibaba's ambition to seamlessly integrate AI technology across all its business operations, foreseeing AI as the cornerstone driving force for all its endeavors over the next three to five years. He further noted that while e-commerce may not currently dominate as the primary internet gateway, by harnessing AI, it has the potential to transcend existing entry barriers and pioneer new AI-driven pathways, thereby attracting a broader user base.
