Tencent has undergone a comprehensive reorganization of its Hunyuan large model R&D system, prioritizing the three key areas of computing power, algorithms, and data, while significantly boosting investment in research and development. As part of this strategic adjustment, the company has introduced two new departments: the Large Language Model Department and the Multimodal Model Department. These departments are tasked with exploring and innovating in the realms of large language models and multimodal large models, respectively, ensuring continuous enhancement of their underlying models' capabilities. Concurrently, Tencent has fortified its data capabilities and platform infrastructure. The Data Platform Department now oversees the comprehensive lifecycle management of large model data, while the Machine Learning Platform Department concentrates on building an integrated machine learning and big data platform. This platform serves as an efficient PaaS infrastructure, supporting AI model training and big data operations, thereby jointly accelerating the technological advancements within Tencent's Hunyuan large model ecosystem.
