The inaugural edition of the English-language international academic journal Intelligent Robots, a collaborative effort between the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and Wiley Publishing Group, has been officially released online. Backed by a distinguished international editorial board comprising 49 members, including 26 academicians from both China and abroad, this journal endeavors to compile the world's foremost academic resources and spotlight pioneering, interdisciplinary research in robotics. The theme of the first issue, "Frontier Breakthroughs and Paradigm Innovations in Intelligent Robots," comprises one editorial penned by the chief editor and five authoritative reviews, delving into topics such as bio-integrated micro-robots, the performance theory of parallel robots, robot-assisted vascular embolization technology, the technological landscape of humanoid robots, and soft artificial muscles. This endeavor seeks to foster a reciprocal exchange between foundational theoretical research and industrial applications. The journal operates under an open access model and warmly invites scholars from around the globe to submit their contributions.
