Last week, NVIDIA's CEO Jen-Hsun Huang attended a dinner gathering at Mar-a-Lago, during which he reportedly discussed a chip known as H20. Initially, industry insiders speculated that the Trump administration might impose export restrictions on the H20 chip. Given its status as the most advanced AI chip that American companies can legally sell to China, the fate of the H20 had garnered significant attention, particularly considering China's status as a crucial global market teeming with highly valuable companies. However, following the dinner, the administration opted against imposing such restrictions, which could have had a substantial impact on Sino-US technology trade.
