According to the investigation conducted by South Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, the two black boxes of the Jeju Air passenger plane that crashed on December 29, 2022, ceased recording data four minutes before the aircraft struck the concrete structure at the end of the runway. Investigators are currently analyzing the cause of this malfunction. The tragic accident resulted in the loss of 179 lives, with only two individuals being rescued.
