Zhang Linbo, a member of Academician Deng Longjiang's research team at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), has collaborated with Associate Professor Jia Ruonan from the School of Medicine to achieve a groundbreaking advancement in the realm of multimodal sensing-vision fusion application materials at the intersection of medicine and engineering. Through the innovative strategy of salt-out induced ion gel microphase separation, they have successfully synthesized a novel type of ion gel. This groundbreaking gel exhibits remarkable enhancements in mechanical properties, room temperature phosphorescence lifetime, and ionic conductivity. This significant achievement serves as a pivotal technical foundation for the advancement of embodied intelligent robots.
