Beijing stands at the forefront with 20 companies, followed closely by Shanghai with 9, Shenzhen with 8, and Guangzhou with 4 enterprises. This list underscores the agglomeration of AI enterprises in China's tier-1 cities, showcasing Beijing's robust foundation, Shanghai's wealth of talent, and Shenzhen's high industrial density. Leading the pack is AI chipmaker Cambricon, valued at RMB 238 billion, followed by iFLYTEK and SenseTime Technology in second and third positions, respectively. Additionally, the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area has implemented various policies to foster the growth of AI enterprises. The ranking focuses exclusively on intangible intelligent enterprises, aiming to provide an accurate portrayal of the current state of AI enterprises in China.
