Meta Chief Strategy Officer Dave Wehner confirmed on Friday that he is leaving the company to become CFO of AI inference startup Fireworks. Wehner originally joined Facebook in 2012 as Vice President of Corporate Finance and Business Planning. He was promoted to CFO in 2014, held that position for more than eight years, and transitioned to Chief Strategy Officer in 2022.
