The Administrative Committee of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area has issued the Several Measures on Accelerating the Construction of a Highland for the Open-Source and Open Xinchuang Industry. These measures support the construction of Xinchuang laboratories for critical information infrastructure industries, information security assessment institutions, software and hardware adaptation testing centers, industry-education integration bases, and comprehensive service platforms. They also accelerate the development of shared technology empowerment centers in frontier fields such as artificial intelligence, quantum information, and 6G, covering areas including technology transformation, experimental verification, and pilot-scale maturation. For relevant platforms operating as independent entities, support of up to 30 million yuan per year for no more than three consecutive years shall be provided, based on factors such as the construction unit's capabilities, construction plans, results, and development potential.
