AI search company Perplexity has officially launched its enterprise-grade AI agent product, "Teammates," ramping up its rivalry with OpenAI and Anthropic. Designed as a long-running AI assistant for workplace scenarios, the feature can operate continuously within a user's workspace and juggle multiple responsibilities at once. Perplexity said Teammates can draw on users' existing projects, skill libraries, and historical memory to support ongoing work tasks.
