Meta Platforms has issued euro-denominated bonds for the first time, raising €9 billion, with subscription demand exceeding €62 billion—setting the highest subscription record for a European corporate bond issuance. The attractive yields drew in investors who remain cautious about the AI boom. Data showed that subscription orders surpassed the more than €31 billion of demand seen when AB InBev issued bonds in 2016. Quotes for Meta's euro bonds have risen above face value. Data compiled by Bloomberg showed that all six tranches of bonds issued by Meta were quoted higher on Thursday, with bid quotes also above face value.
