The People's Bank of China and Bank Indonesia held a meeting under their joint working mechanism. Vice governors from both institutions attended the meeting and exchanged views on the progress of cooperation and the priorities for bilateral financial cooperation in the period ahead. Both sides agreed to continue leveraging the role of the mechanism to deliver more tangible outcomes in areas such as local currency cooperation, payment system connectivity, financial market cooperation, and digital currency cooperation.
