Wang Xingxing, founder and chairman of Unitree Technology, said at a forum that autonomous robot combat was a concept first proposed by Unitree in 2025, and more than a year has passed since then. He pointed out that today's combat performances are actually less entertaining than last year's: in the past, the robots were less stable, so the fighting and confrontation felt more intense; now that stability has improved significantly, most robots remain firmly on their feet after being hit, and there are fewer knockdowns. He also noted that Unitree has achieved fully autonomous robot combat based on an end-to-end world model, enabling the robots to capture images in real time while the model directly performs reasoning and decision-making.
