ByteDance has recently introduced new internal rules governing the use of AI tools, restricting employees from using external AI tools such as Claude and Codex through personal accounts to access the company's internal materials. Starting this month, the company will ban external AI access to all L4-level code repositories and Feishu documents, and AI accounts purchased by employees themselves will no longer be able to access relevant internal resources.
