On November 4, 20 organizations—including the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent, and Xiaomi—jointly released the "Self-Discipline Convention on the Development of Intelligent Agents." The convention proposes to build intelligent agent interconnection infrastructure and to jointly develop interconnectable infrastructure. It also calls for developing technologies and standards for intelligent agent registration and resolution, capability description and discovery, intent understanding and conversion, network routing and connection, resource scheduling and metering, and protocol compatibility and mutual recognition; reducing the cost of cross-domain discovery and connection; and supporting interconnection and collaboration. At the same time, it aims to accelerate the empowerment of intelligent agents across all industries, adhere to serving the real economy, and develop low-threshold development and deployment tools. The convention also encourages joint research and development of intelligent agents oriented toward real operating scenarios and the creation of actual value, promotes their integration into existing production systems and business processes, creates benchmark applications, reduces implementation and application costs, and helps industries improve quality and efficiency.
