Since setting up operations in Shenzhen at the end of 2020, Signet Therapeutics has focused on addressing unmet clinical needs in malignant metastatic solid tumors. Building on its independently developed organoid models, the company has gradually expanded into innovative targeted drug development for cardiovascular and renal diseases. By adopting an "organoid + AI" R&D model, it aims to improve the efficiency and success rate of new drug development. Recently, the company completed the first close of a several-hundred-million-yuan Series A+ round led by China Life Equity Investment. The proceeds will be used to advance its core oncology innovative drug pipeline into pivotal clinical trials, develop new pipelines for cardiovascular and renal diseases, and further iterate and optimize its "organoid + AI" drug R&D platform while conducting novel target discovery. The company currently has five first-in-class drug pipelines in place, with a well-defined R&D echelon. Among them, the core pipeline SIGX1094 is the world's first diffuse gastric cancer targeted drug based on "organoid + AI" to reach the clinical stage, and also the world's first FAK/SRC dual-target inhibitor to enter clinical trials. Pipeline SIGX2649 is a pan-TEAD inhibitor with no precedent for druggability, demonstrating excellent preclinical performance with lower renal-targeted toxicity than similar investigational drugs. In addition to supporting its own pipelines, the company's organoid platform is also collaborating with the National Medical Products Administration and the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control to advance the formulation of organoid alternative standards. Its independently developed cardiac organoid model has raised the accuracy of drug cardiotoxicity prediction to approximately 82%. Dr. Zhang Haisheng, founder and CEO of Signet Therapeutics, and Dr. Song Jun, Managing Director of China Life Equity Investment, both made relevant statements regarding this financing round and the company's subsequent development.
