On November 2, the 2026 World Internet Conference Leading Science and Technology Award ceremony was held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang, where 20 achievements received awards. Among them, 2 were in basic research, including the "Jiuzhang No. 4" photonic quantum computing prototype; 10 were in key technologies, including optical transmission technology and applications for space-based quantum information; and 8 were in engineering research and development, including an intelligent vehicle agent technology platform for physical AI. The award-winning achievements cover frontier fields such as quantum computing, artificial intelligence, aerospace information, and agent productivity platforms, and are characterized by "intelligence-led innovation, digital-real integration, and a solid foundation."
