In a move to accelerate its global AI footprint, Naver founder Lee Hae-jin has brought in NVIDIA through a $1 billion deal—one that will dilute his own stake. Upon completion of the subscription, NVIDIA will hold approximately 4.54% of Naver's equity, overtaking Lee Hae-jin to become the third-largest shareholder. The top two shareholders remain South Korea's National Pension Service and BlackRock. The transaction is scheduled to close on November 6, 2026.
