Tibo, Head of OpenAI Codex and ChatGPT, announced that usage quotas for multiple subscription tiers have been doubled and withdrew the originally planned quota reduction for legacy Pro 200 users that was scheduled to take effect on October 30. Following the adjustment, the Pro 100 quota has increased from 5x that of Plus to 10x, and Pro 500 from 25x to 50x. Legacy Pro 200 users will retain their original 20x quota, while new subscribers' quotas are being raised to 20x. Business Premium quotas have also been doubled. Dots extra quota remains available, and usage is calculated separately from the default subscription quota. This adjustment does not benefit Plus users, as OpenAI is further widening the quota gap between different paid tiers.
