According to reports, the company is on the verge of finalizing a new funding round, raising approximately 100 billion yuan. Coupled with the initial funding round of around 51 billion yuan secured in June this year, the total financing accumulated within just half a year could hit a staggering 150 billion yuan, though the exact figures and investors remain undisclosed.
Previously, DeepSeek has consistently signaled its ambition to expand its workforce, aiming to at least double the size of each department and has recently posted roughly 150 new job openings.
On the product front, DeepSeek has made headlines by open-sourcing its internal inference framework, DeepInfer, which seamlessly integrates with both NVIDIA and Huawei Ascend computing power platforms. Furthermore, its models have clinched the top spot on the OpenRouter platform's weekly model usage chart for three consecutive weeks, showcasing its growing influence and technical prowess.
