Tencent Yuanbao is in the process of developing a Personal Agent product called Yuanbao Assistant, with plans to roll out a dedicated App. This new application will operate in a distinct space with separate permissions from the main Yuanbao App, boasting core Agent functionalities like long-term task management and personal long-term memory. At present, several business units within Tencent are also in the midst of developing products or features tailored to the Personal Agent domain.

Tencent Yuanbao is a consumer-facing (C-end) AI assistant crafted by Tencent, leveraging its in-house developed Hunyuan large model. It made its debut on May 30, 2024, offering support for voice and text searches, encompassing a wide array of information sources, and the ability to recognize and upload documents in various formats. This versatile tool can be employed for drafting reports, plans, copywriting, and even coding.

Meanwhile, Doubao is also forging ahead with its product strategy in the personal assistant realm. The project, previously known by its codename Spell and spearheaded by the Doubao mobile assistant team, has been christened Xiaodou. It is set to introduce a standalone App version, with the final name slated to be confirmed this summer. Currently, the project is undergoing internal testing, and the ultimate public release may see some refinements.
