On October 10, the Ministry of Education convened a live conference in Beijing focused on enhancing teacher development through artificial intelligence. During this significant event, the Teacher Development Center, now upgraded and accessible on the National Smart Education Platform, was officially launched, alongside the introduction of a comprehensive AI literacy training initiative for teachers. The newly inaugurated Teacher Development Center boasts a specialized AI literacy segment, seamlessly blending AI learning materials, intelligent tools, and professional development networks to facilitate teachers' autonomous learning and all-encompassing training. To kick off the training, the Ministry of Education arranged for frontline educators, school principals, and directors of educational bureaus to conduct live demonstrations. These showcased the integration of AI across the entire teaching spectrum—pre-class preparation, in-class instruction, and post-class assessment. This encompasses efficient lesson planning, classroom teaching, academic assessment, reflective teaching research, and school administration, empowering teachers to excel in learning, applying, and innovating with AI, thereby fostering educational and teaching progress, as well as teacher growth, to ultimately achieve personalized education.
