Apple Brings in Huxe Team Through Acqui-hiring

According to 9to5Mac, Apple has reached a talent acquisition and technology licensing agreement with AI audio startup Huxe. Apple has the right to hire specific employees from Huxe and obtain a non-exclusive license to its intellectual property. The deal was notified to the EU in June 2025 and marks at least the fourth AI-related transaction for Apple this year. Founded by former members of Google's NotebookLM team, Huxe discontinued its app services in May 2026.
