This year, China has persisted in bolstering the groundwork for the growth of the embodied AI sector. It has expedited the establishment of training facilities, refined industry benchmarks, and facilitated the shift of embodied AI from research labs to commercialization. Presently, more than 70 training facilities for embodied AI are operational throughout the nation, with an additional 40 either under construction or in the planning stages. These facilities have formed three primary hubs in the Yangtze River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and Pearl River Delta. Thanks to the accumulation of extensive practical training data, applications for real-machine training have commenced. In Shenzhen, wheeled-armed humanoid robots, trained with real-world data, are now proficient in executing intricate tasks, including the switching of electrical cabinets and the opening/closing of industrial valves.
