OpenAI has disclosed its latest financial situation to investors, revealing that as of the end of September, its annualized revenue stood at approximately $50 billion, lower than the widely reported $68 billion, which actually included the total revenue of its partners. Meanwhile, OpenAI stated that its total run rate grew by 77% in the third quarter, while the enterprise business run rate increased by 107%. Currently, OpenAI is facing the challenge of justifying its valuation of $852 billion to investors. The company has confidentially submitted its IPO prospectus in June and plans to go public in 2027. Additionally, OpenAI is engaged in early discussions for a potential new round of funding, aiming to raise approximately $30 billion, though specific terms have yet to be determined. Affected by this news, stocks of AI-related companies such as NVIDIA, Oracle, and CoreWeave declined on Thursday.
