According to TechCrunch, Nous Research, the startup behind the open-source Hermes Agent, has secured $90 million in Series B funding, reaching a valuation of $1.5 billion. The round was led by Robot Ventures, with participation from NVIDIA, Samsung, and others. The company plans to allocate the new funds to advance its enterprise market presence, launching 'Hermes for Businesses' to help companies deploy customized AI agents while ensuring data privacy and security. As of mid-September 2026, its annualized revenue stands at approximately $36 million, with projections to surpass $100 million by year-end.
