On October 9, reports indicated that the fierce competition among AI large models has extended its reach into everyday life scenarios. Recently, the Doubao App introduced a utility payment function, enabling users to settle their water, electricity, and gas bills via voice or text commands. Presently, the payment interface encompasses three primary categories: electricity, water, and gas bills. However, this service is not yet accessible in Qingdao. According to sources familiar with Doubao, the platform is steadily developing comprehensive capabilities to manage tasks across diverse scenarios, including travel services and utility payments. It has already rolled out services such as flight booking, train ticket purchasing, and ride-hailing, and has forged partnerships with platforms like Cao Cao Mobility and Baidu Maps. It's worth noting that the utility payment feature merely initiates the service. Tasks such as account linking, information verification, and payment still necessitate manual completion by users. At present, one-click automatic deductions are not supported.
