Google emphasized that this agent boasts a wide array of functionalities, including the ability to respond to inquiries, generate content, and compose code. It seamlessly integrates across various applications like Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Calendar. Thomas Kurian, the CEO of Google Cloud, highlighted that the Gemini agent is adept at selecting appropriate models based on specific tasks, incorporates inherent cost-management features, and delivers the security and administrative controls essential for business operations.
