SoftBank Group, Grab Holdings, and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETROS) have signed a framework agreement to explore the development of AI and digital infrastructure platforms in Sarawak, Malaysia. The three parties will develop a phased roadmap covering AI computing power, robotics technology, and talent development. SoftBank will contribute expertise in AI infrastructure and semiconductors, Grab will leverage its digital ecosystem in Southeast Asia, and PETROS will utilize Sarawak's energy resources to advance the project, drawing support from the 'Sarawak Gas Roadmap' and the Kuching Low Carbon Hub.
