On October 8, 2026, Butterfly Effect, the parent entity of Manus, officially declared the successful closure of a substantial new funding round, amassing more than $500 million. This round was spearheaded by prominent investors Boyu Capital and IDG Capital, with ongoing support from existing backers Tencent, Sequoia China, and ZhenFund. Prior to this funding milestone, Manus had already rolled out its version 2.0 and introduced an intelligent assistant named Cue. Currently, the company is in the process of forming a dedicated team to spearhead the development of products tailored for the domestic market.
