Several high-profile security incidents recently, along with ongoing bipartisan discussions on AI safety in the United States, have drawn increasing attention to this field. Shapero stated that AI safety is a hot topic nowadays, with its core focus on ensuring that artificial intelligence systems operate securely and ethically. The range of related roles is broad, encompassing technical research, risk mitigation, policy formulation, and integrating safety frameworks into AI products, with these positions typically offering generous compensation.
