Amid growing global concerns over the threats posed by artificial intelligence, U.S. President Trump, after meeting with AI industry executives at the White House, expressed opposition to introducing new federal regulations to oversee AI. Following a lunch with more than two dozen Silicon Valley leaders on Tuesday, Trump stated that existing laws are sufficient to protect Americans from the potential risks of AI. Attendees included Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang.
