On Tuesday, Samsung Electronics, along with five of its affiliated companies, collectively declared their plan to invest a substantial $1 billion in Helix Digital Infrastructure. Helix Digital Infrastructure is an AI infrastructure platform that was launched by the private equity firm KKR in June of this year. In the wake of the soaring demand for artificial intelligence, technology firms, energy providers, and investment entities are joining forces to bolster computing infrastructure on a global scale. Since its establishment, Helix has successfully garnered over $10 billion in capital commitments from a diverse range of investors, including KKR, the Kuwait Investment Authority, NVIDIA, and the energy company Vistra.
