Australian AI infrastructure company Firmus announced on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with U.S. tech giant Meta to provide GPU computing power for Meta using its Southeast Asian data centers. Firmus will provide the contracted computing power and expansion options based on NVIDIA's full-stack DSX platform to support Meta's AI research, model development, and training. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The deal builds on Meta's previous deployment of NVIDIA's B300 NVL72 system at Firmus' Melbourne data center, which represents the largest deployment of the Blackwell Ultra system in the Southern Hemisphere.
