As AI Agents are applied in real-world business scenarios, sandboxes have gradually become a core component of their infrastructure. Alibaba Cloud has launched Agent Sandbox, an enterprise-grade solution for AI Agents. Designed for both Agent training evaluation and production applications, it offers an E2B-compatible Developer API and a Kubernetes-adapted management API. The product provides three differentiated computing power specifications with per-second billing, reducing the total cost of ownership by up to 70% in typical scenarios. Through end-to-end optimization, Agent Sandbox enables the creation of 100,000 sandboxes per minute and supports the online operation of millions of sandboxes in a single Region. It achieves a cold start P99 of less than 180 milliseconds and a hot start P99 of less than 20 milliseconds. Additionally, it features memory-level state reuse, multi-layer security boundary control, and rapid hibernation wake-up capabilities, meeting the demands of parallel Agent training and long-duration task execution. Currently, the product has been implemented in various Agent production scenarios across multiple enterprises, providing a secure, stable, and efficient production-grade execution environment for Agents.
